FAQ’s

  • We will always do our upmost to accommodate any dietary requirements, However letting us know in advance is essential. When making a reservation please make a note of any allergies. The same applies for group bookings - if you are making a group reservation, it is your responsibility to make us aware of any allergies.

    Please give us a minimum of 72 hours notice. Any less than this and we cannot guarantee we will be able to accommodate. The same applies for unannounced dietary requirements and you will still be subject to full charge of the menu.

    Whilst we follow the best practices and due diligence at all times, we must highlight the fact that all the dishes we serve are created in an environment where allergens are prepared and cooked. We cannot guarantee the the environment will be completely allergen free.

  • We recommend leaving 2 hours if you are dining from the lunch or dinner menu. Our tasting menu is expected to take between 3- 4 hours depending on your pace. Note we do not turn tables, your booking secures your table for the entirety of the service, so you are able to enjoy the experience for as long or as short time as you wish.

  • Yes. Our car park is locked overnight and on our closed days Monday and Tuesday Any cars left in the car park over this time will not be accessible until Wednesday morning. Please bear this in mind if you are planning on leaving your car overnight. Disabled parking is situated at the front of the restaurant.

  • We are happy to welcome young guests if they participate in dining from our regular menu at the same price. We do not have a children's menu

    Due to the nature of the restaurant we do not have any child friendly facilities.

    We kindly ask that parents and children are courteous to other diners.

  • Yes. Ave Cabs (01635 31212) No need to book one in advance, just ask a member of staff to arrange one for you towards the end of your evening, leaving you able to enjoy the evening at your own pace.

  • Credit card details are required to secure your booking. No payment is taken from the card used unless you fail to show up to your reservation or cancel after the cutoff period which is 48 hours before your reservation.

    No shows to your reservation including reducing numbers will result you being charged a 'No Show Fee' which is the price of the menu experience you have booked.

    This is a measure put in place to safe guard the restaurants income against late cancellations and no shows. Credit card details are required for all bookings. They are securely kept with a third-party site called Stripe.

    Damson is an independent restaurant and as such, our viability relies on reservations being honoured by our guests or sufficient notice given.

    We order and prepare our food to the highest standards on a weekly basis, based on the bookings taken, in order to give you the best experience possible.

  • Any bookings cancelled within 48 hours for your reservation, we reserve the right to charge a late cancellation fee which is the price of the menu experience you have booked.

    Not showing up to your reservation will result in the same fee. This includes reducing numbers in your party.
